Last Blast Weekend

Has anyone heard rumors about Six Flags doing it again? By my guess I don't think they'll do it because they didn't get that great of a turn out. But then again I felt they didn't do a very good job of advertising it.

Yes, they are doing it this year... except this time it is on the schedules.

Nobody showed up last year because nobody knew the parks were still open - the only advertising they did last year was some flyers handed out at the park over the last few weekends and maybe a sign on the way out of the park (that no one bothers to read...).

Last year lasr blast was great at sfgam. no lines at all. I wish they didnt put it on the schedule so no one will be there.I will be attending it anyway though.

I was under the impression that the first weekend of November was now being marketed as Fright Fest. Hopefully not...

It is on the FrightFest schedule. No half-price going on either I would assume.

The half-price thing went on at SFoG's add-on day (for passholders) last year too...picked up some cool souvenirs, AND the park didn't have to store the stuff over the Winter....everybody wins...:)

...it was a GREAT day to be at the park, in part *because* not very many people were there....lack of advertising + cold and rainy weather = small *crowds*...;)

"Well, nothing fancy, mostly just ones and zeroes"...;)

Yes, the last blast weekend is on the Fright Fest Schedule, but it's not on the JPM website. (The Company that provides the creature crew. [creepy dudes]) so it may not actually be fright fest. Plus, who in the General public actually looks at those schedules. Most of the GP go in the summer anyway so they probably have no idea what's going on.

Last year at SFStL, all the Fright Fest stuff was gone. (It wouls seem strange to have haunted houses after Halloween anyway).

I would expect that it will be busier this year since it is the "last weekend"... However, I still expect fairly small crowds (just not last year's ghost town).
