Las Vegas, 11/12-15: Bests and Worsts

I did part of that drive this summer (Raton, NM to Trindad,CO). Yes, it was a butiful drive. I loved crossing the broder into Colorado and suddenly the sceanery really changes.

I have driven (well, ridden, actually) from Wichita Falls, TX, up through the corner of New Mexico and north to Colorado Springs, and yes, that was an incredible drive. I like how you'll see a butte in the distance, and an hour later you'll pass it. At one point, we had a train chugging along beside us for more than two hours.
