Large flat rides indoors

I think with the opening of Tomb Raider at PKI, there is a good chance that we will see more and more of these larger type flat rides appearing at parks, big and small.

What do you think?

True, what is the ride inside of Houdini's last escape at Great Adventure. The ride is surprisingly GOOD!!!!
Good thought! I think we will but not to the extent of TR:TR.

Not MLK's words but mine..I have a Dream! I have a DREAM! I HAVE A DREAM!
I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!

Houdini's Escape is a Vekoma Mad House. There are two in the states, and a couple more worldwide. Besides Great Adventure, there is one at Six Flags New England. I hear that the New England one is not as good though. I agree that it is one really great attraction that needs more duplication.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

In 2000 I would have said SFGAd's was better than SFNE's, but last year it was the opposite. SFNE'S Houdini had all the effects working and just looked much better than SFGAd's.

Perhaps they needed to do some maintenance on it?

Who knows, maybe we'll see a clone of TR:TR at PKD some time in the future,it's an interesting concept taking the classic flat rides and moving them indoors which adds a new twist or sensation to an existing crowd pleaser such as a top spin or scrambler.I'd love to see an indoor enterprise.

Not to mention these giant rides indoors can shuffle through a LOT of people who may want to get out of the elements (rain, heat)

I wouldn't be too surprised to see more enclosed flats....certainly was cool at Miracle Strip....but those were "mid-sized" flats! Someone inquired the other day about TR:TR showing up at other Paramounts...don't think so, but some theming on an enclosed flat is cool...
