Plans were unveiled Tuesday for the reopening of a re-invented Lakemont Park, slated to open to the public on Memorial Day Weekend 2019. Andrea Cohen, representing the Devorris family, co-owners of the park, said the new Lakemont Park will step away from theme park entertainment and instead will focus on outdoor recreation and special events.

The article says they’re keeping it and a few other rides.
Anything is an improvement compared to what that park was like before it closed. I am glad Leap the Dips and Skyliner will live to see another day though, they were both fun rides in an otherwise depressing park. And I love the way the Skyliner acts as a backdrop for the baseball stadium.
I just worry that a park that isn't doing well to this extent may not last much longer. Maintaining coasters is expensive obviously.

It'd be completely sustainable if Pepsi Refresh was still a thing.
