Lake Clementon was for sale for a while.

If you are sure Lakemont in PA is the park you are talking about then phone a notice of intent:
814-949-PARK Local
814-949-9207 FAX

or snail mail your request to:

700 Park Avenue
Altoona, PA 16602

http://www.amusementtoday.com may have some information if they were indeed put up for sale.

Also, if you are having problems reaching the park's main office, the Blair County auditor's office might be able to help you. Just use Lakemont's given address and they could help you find the parcel number and the owner's name and phone number through tax records.

I read it has been for sale for the past three years. Damn, now I got to go looking for that article. The article could have been old too :S

Well, technically, everything is for sale. It may just not be advertised. No one is trying to sell Lakemont, but if Bill Gates gives them a couple billion, I'm sure it'd be arranged. ;)

Actually, Lakemont as 'land' is owned by Blair Co, and the 'park proper', ie the rides, buildings, attractions, etc is owned by Ralph Ambrano Construction. Its a unique situation, but the 'park proper' would be for sale, and the balance of the lease. But they are not at this time.

And I would reveal my identity for that 1 billion dollars.
