Lake Winnie for '04 - CoasterBuzz

I was driving from Nashville to Atlanta yesterday and decided to take a brief detour by Lake Winnie when I got to Chattanooga. Since the park is closed, I just rode around the park and the surrounding neighborhood looking at the Cannonball from all sides when I noticed something I hadn't seen on my trip to the park back in June. Maybe this attraction was added to the park after my June visit, but I could clearly see 2 new towering water slides in the park. They were the enclosed tube kind built at the top of a tower. Is LW getting a new waterpark for '04 or just these slides?

If they were purple and green , they have been there since '96.

Wow I must learn to be more observant when I'm at the park next time. I totally don't remember seeing them. Yes they were purple and green best I could tell.

It's out front next to the main parking lot.It's also been there since last year , but they even moved the park entrance to make more , and i have no Idea what it could be.

You probably drove around the back entrance to where the other (still , uneeded)parking lot is , and that's why you couldn't see it.

And yes , I am the official lake Winnie Know-it-all.

Personally I'm hoping Winnie will buy OE from WOF. I know it's a pipe dream, but I think the interlocking loops or the boomerang would look phenomenal over the lake.
