Lake Winnie

I am going to Lake Winnie (Georgia, just outside of Chattanooga ,Tennessee) tomorrow ,6/8, (I found out about an hour ago) and want to know if I need to know anything about the park, such as tips on the best seat on their woodie, Cannonball. What about their Boat Chute? Is it similar to a standard Shoot The Chute? I will post a TR on Sunday and will try to add pictures soon. Thanks!

Hmm. It;s been so long since I rode the Cannonball I can't tell you which seat is best, but you're not going to have to wait very long for it regardless. The Boast Chuts starts out in a creepy shed/tunnel and plunges into a real lake, not a man-made one. I went there as a kid, so a lot has changed. Be sure to try a funnel cake!

They added a lot of new food items this year. They are a proud family of their services.

My favorite seats on the Cannonball were 1.3 and the last seat. The Boat Chute is unlike anything else you have been on, it is really the last chutes ride in the style of the ride found at the Luna parks of yesteryear. As for other stuff not to miss:

I was there 2 weeks. Its a fun place. I have no tips, just have a great time!!!

Adam, the Mouse has had it's name changed to Wild Lightning. I wonder if Valleyfair didn't like that name

Don't forget to ride the Tilt-A-Whirl and the double ferris wheel for a good scare. Buy popcorn and feed them to the fish in the the lake... they will go nuts.
