Lake Winnepesaukah officials announced Wednesday they will add a five-acre water park to the already 100-acre amusement park by next summer. Admission to the water park will be included in the current $26 unlimited ride ticket price. The multi-million-dollar addition is expected to feature a lazy river, wave lagoon, flume body slides, enclosed tube slides, side-by-side racer slides, and a splash park for toddlers.

Is this park really 100 acres? I've checked it out on the Google, and it looks very small.

How much of the woods do they own? Perhaps they are including that.

When you take into consideration the 2 parking lots and the lake are part of the acreage, it looks about right to me. (I'm assuming the land next to the coaster is a parking lot)

I'm just going by the size of the old Astroworld, which was touted as being 100 acres. Lake Winnie looks a lot smaller that the old Astroworld.

First major expansion since 1960? I guess we'll have to wait until 2066 for the next one then.
