If I were you, I would stop at it. I practically begged my brother to take me there this year cause it is only 6 hrs from here, but he isn't all into coasters. Maybe next year since I will be able to drive...
BTW-Are you going to SFEG or Lakeside here in Denver?
Unfortunatly, we will most likely drive through Denver on route to Peublo or taking a backroad to detour the city. We still have not decided. If we do go through Denver I'll try my best to get them to stop at SFEG.

hunter11,
You should go to Lagoon if you have never been before. It has two great Schwarzkopf coasters and the White Roller Coaster by John Miller. It is a nice little park with some good flats and check out Rattle Snake Rapids at the back of the park, through Pioneer Village. And if you like water parks then bring your swimsuit because Lagoona Beach is included in your admission. You can get a discount if you have a coke can.
Lagoon has some nice coasters from what I've heard and Schwarzkopf or wooden coasters should not be passed for any reason. Since the park has both, take some time and visit the park as I know it will be worth it. :)

If you do get to go through Denver, try and stop both SFEG and Lakeside. Lakeside takes all of a hour or two to hit, but it has the Cyclone, and that is a great classic woody that is a ACE coaster classic. And it will only cost you all of 10 bucks to hit. SFEG will take a few hours to hit, so if you get the chance, get there in the morning. But make TFC your last ride cause it never opens when the park opens so either way you will end up waiting.
