La Ronde Goliath construction update: Out portion done

On march 14th, La Ronde updated the website with brand new pictures of the ride. The first drop and 3 hills after that are done. They're doing the turnaround right now and it looks great! The station is also coming along fine.

Oh baby, hill after hill after hill. And just look at that *snap* at the top of the turn-around!

I know that other Goliath down south has been getting a ton of attention but I think this baby is going to be suprising a lot of people this year.

UPDATE:

New pictures uploaded on the 20th... that show a surprise: a trim brake on the first hill after the wicked turnaround.

Hey, that looks like the B&M coaster track that's been spotted all over Ohio and Canada... ;)

Sorry, hard for me to pass up a good running joke! :)

That's funny gator !

I miss Drachen Fire

Trim brake isn't exactly shocking. I wonder how B&M decides where to place them, though. Not only what portion of the ride but whether to put it on an ascent, or at the bottom of a valley. Because they're seen pretty equally on both, correct?
They have the choice whether or not to use it. If Raging Bull is any insight though...
Someone say they e-mailed La Ronde and they replied saying that at first, the trim brake won't be used. So, it gives us hope at least.
