La Ronde Goliath construction pictures

La Ronde website was updated today with a lot of new pictures showing Goliath's construction. The transfer track and a few supports are already in place. Enjoy the pictures taken in the snow...

Yeah, interesting they name it GOLIATH, but paint it like Superman...

Atleast it isn't Orange. Goliath is green & purple at walibi and no one said anything about that.. shouldn't it be called the hulk then? Goliath is just a name meaning BIG/HUDGE. Plus they already have an orange coaster at LR and there already is one named super manage. So super manage and super man?? That would be a bit awkward.

Ackward how? SFGAdv has Batman The Ride and Batman & Robin: The Chiller.

And why would anyone say anything about the colors at Walabi. We were simply commenting on the fact that it has superman's colors, no one complained.

Makes you wonder if the park actually initially intended on naming it Superman Ride of Steel, but then opted for the much more intimidating Goliath moniker ;). It would seem so wouldn't it? With those colors. It all ties together. :)

There's no way I'll ever ride this thing unless it has colors never before seen on a SF coaster and a completely unique name. I just don't think there's any way I could enjoy myself. *** Edited 11/20/2005 4:24:27 AM UTC by bigboy***

wow I do think this is an enthusiASS low...

Considering this is owned by SF... do you think they are considering to name the park Six Flags La Ronde and renaming the ride Superman? I do find it very ackward that it's superman colors, and Goliath as a name... just really ackward. Maybe they did originally intend it to be Superman... odd

Also, the station soooo does not fit in to either theme.

I cant wait for this! Ive been waiting years since the rumor...

Contruction is going really really fast. I was so surprised. I wanna see a real video and more pictures of the ride.
