Does anyone know if SFMM is affect or if anyone is stuck on rides?

Thanks,

Latest news was LA and San Fernando Valley, of which SFMM is not a part of. My office building has power thanks to a generator but all the traffic lights are out.

Most flat rides, when power is lost, will slowly lower and right themselves. I'd guess most coasters are built so that if power is lost all brakes close, locking trains in their blocks. My guess is of all the parks possibly without power the one with the most guests stuck on rides would be Disneyland, not SFMM.

The people subjected to the blackouts were in Fontana, La Puente, Cathedral City, Huntington Beach, Long Beach and Ontario.

From the sources I found, the power has already been restored.

It was a larger area than that, George. I'm In West Los Angeles near Santa Monica and we lost power, as did Santa Monica. Parts of the San Fernando Valley were also without power such as Burbank & Studio City.

As I look out my office window I can still see street lights out, so not all power has been restored.

Yeah, Moosh is right... It's over a very large area. Of course, Pasadena is on it's own power grid, so we're still toiling away here at the office. Just can't catch a break. ;)

I just feel bad for the people working in the high rises downtown with the elevators out. Especially the U.S. Bank building... what is that, something like 1,100 feet? That's A LOT of stairs!

Six Flags Magic Mountain is closed today and the Orange County parks (KBF, DLR) did not suffer the outage. I am not sure about Universal Studios but since Burbank lost power, USH probably did too.
Jim she didn't do it this time, I swear, she was at work all day, unless she has those adaptable and virtually noiseless toys I have seen. Thigh she does use more nuclear power then regular electricity. So this one is beyond her.

They just said on the news that Disneyland was not affected by the outage but some nearby Disney offices were.

Just got home here in Playa del Rey, near LAX. My PC was off and the VCR clocks are all blinking, so the power was out here, too.
Does anyone know if MM and KBF have generators?
