La Marque, Texas official thinking rollercoasters

The economic development director of La Marque, Texas thinks an amusement park would be good for his city following the closure of Six Flags Astroworld, and he is particularly interested in talking to Cedar Fair about the development of a park.

Personally, I don't understand MAJOR cities without amusement parks. Any City or area that has over 3-5 million people should at least have ONE amusement park.

Theres many cities that are bigger than that, That don't or won't when SF leaves :(

Nashville's nowhere in the same league of metropolitan area that Houston is. Plus, they've got Bowling Green an hour away that's getting a new GCI woodie. There's not going to be another rollercoaster for a 200 mile radius of Houston now and we've got 6 million people within 100 miles.
