I made my second trip to my home park this season last Thursday. Overall, it was a very good day. Crowds were light and the heat was not unbearable. As far as the rides go:
Phantom's Revenge: 5 rides (Two front, Two Back) An awesome ride. The airtime in the back seat is incredible. It ranks up there with the most airtime I have ever felt. I also never waited more than 40 minutes for a ride.
Thunderbolt: 7 rides. My first rides of the season. This is a classic woodie. However, in the second to last drop, you really are close to PR hence the red padding. The last drop of the ride is one of my favorites.
Exterminator: 4 rides. A neat crazy mouse in the dark. I think there are too many brakes on the ride however.
Racer: 4 rides. A classic coaster. Unfortunately I have not won one race this year.
Jack Rabbit: 4 rides. The double dip in the back seat provides wonderful airtime
Other rides:
Arrow 360 (Twice)
All water rides
Pit fall (Twice)
Kangaroo (A nice ride that really has not survived elsewhere)
Whip (Classic)
Gold Rusher
Old Mill (Celebrating 100 years)
All in all I really enjoyed myself once again at this traditional amusement park. Besides, I could eat potato patch fries 365 days a year, and I would not get tired of them!
