Kudos to PKI for Shirts

PKI gets my vote for a service award. My wife and son and I were at the BeastBuzz at PKI in June. After ERT on The Beast in the early morning we looked at Beast t-shirts in a couple different shops. They had the "25th Anniversary" shirts and we figured we'd buy them later in the day. Lo and behold by midafternoon none were left in the park except small and medium sizes ( we needed two XL's). We looked in EVERY shop. Finally I went to Guest Relations and had them check their inventory. They sent us to a couple shops, but again, only one or two "25th's" in each, and only S and M.

After the "behind-the-scenes" of Beast I spoke to Crystal of Guest Relations about the situation and how disapointed we were. We are from NH and this was only our second trip to PKI, and we probably won't be back until next year, if then.

After Crystal checked with the head of merchandising she told us that they only ordered a VERY small quantity of "25th" shirts, more would arrive the following week and they were sorry. She said no problem though, just give me your name/address and I'll have them mailed. Although a little skeptical that a big park would accomplish this, I offered her my credit card info. She said no, no, they (two shirts) would be free, on PKI. We thanked her profusely and went away happy.

That was a month ago. Nothing in the mail. I figured okay, it didn't get done. Disappointing but no sweat; it's not like I had paid for them. Yesterday I wore my "regular" Beast T-shirt. My mail arrived in the afternoon with two XL 25th Beast shirts from PKI.

Thank you Crystal, the woman from Merch., and PKI.

Now I know why attendance is up 16%

That is awesome. Kudos to PKI... again!
Sweetness. Wish Siebert would of done the same thing. Caught him in the hallway of the theater building (where we watched the beast video) and asked him about the 25th aniversary shirts. Told us the different places to look and we told him that we did but they only had "small" size.

Oh well, glad you got the shirts and hope you enjoy them. Would be nice if pki would have an online store :)

So is true that you can't find an XL t-shirt after an enthusiast event! I heard this a few years ago and thought it was a joke, but I guess it's true.

PKI is great in regards to clothing. They gave my friend a free T when TR:TR dropped some grease on his shoulder, and also gave him a form to pay him back for any cleaning of the greased shirt.

Yeah, I mean it was not as if he was busy or anything....

I really like the new Beast Shirt that looks like a comic book cover. That is awesome that they would send you free shirts.
Wow. Thats really great. I am so impressed when I visit any Paramount Park, they always "Seem to Get it" when I'm there. Thats why I'm looking forward to next weeks PKI trip(first in 10 years!).

Now if only they'd by another struggling chain with poor customer service (not that I can actually attest to that myself, I was happy with my service @ both SFA and SFGAM, but the numbers dont' lie).

Well I am glad to hear that PKI got you your shirt. I also wish they Kings Island would have a on-line store. I do wish they would sell the Beast Video in the park. They would make alot of money off of that video.
I would have liked to have gotten one of those myself. I also needed an extra large too. Gotta love Paramount for taking care of their guests.
Thats awesome! Good work Paramount!

Thanks,
DMC
