The Land and Environmental Court has decided to revoke the building permit for the Wildfire, Kolmårdens new roller coaster. The Court believes that the ride raises so many questions that it should have been preceded by a detailed plan, which it has not done.
Read the article (Swedish) from SVT.
What a conundrum!
That's a confusing and difficult question to answer, August. Perhaps you should Google it.
It wasn't a question.
Darn. My joke failed. I can't read.
I'll help you out - what is a conundrum?
That's a "confusing and difficult question to answer," Shades. Perhaps you should Google it.
This ride looks amazing! I watched the POV, and I kind of wish someone would build something like that in my neck of the woods.Last edited by LostKause, Monday, October 31, 2016 11:54 AM
Reminds me somewhat of SFDK and their V2....except we now *know* (sorta) that SFDK tried to pull a fast one and build a taller ride than the one that had gotten jurisdictional approval.
Which forces me to wonder...did the municipality give approval for Wildfire without understanding the ride's size?
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
From what little I've been able to find in English, I think the problem is noise opposed to size.
But then again, what do I know?
That's what she said?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
