Kolmarden Wildfire faces uncertain future, as permitting for the new roller coaster is in dispute

The Land and Environmental Court has decided to revoke the building permit for the Wildfire, Kolmårdens new roller coaster. The Court believes that the ride raises so many questions that it should have been preceded by a detailed plan, which it has not done.

This ride looks amazing! I watched the POV, and I kind of wish someone would build something like that in my neck of the woods.

Reminds me somewhat of SFDK and their V2....except we now *know* (sorta) that SFDK tried to pull a fast one and build a taller ride than the one that had gotten jurisdictional approval.

Which forces me to wonder...did the municipality give approval for Wildfire without understanding the ride's size?

From what little I've been able to find in English, I think the problem is noise opposed to size.
