Okay with a name like Rip Tide, water effects seem almost certain (esp since KBF is a Cedar Fair park, and WoF just opened their Top Spin with water effects).

But does anyone know if there will be water effects for sure?

This ride sounds awesome with inverted seating!

Well, Rip Tide is going into the park's The Boardwalk themed area. I'm pretty sure this ride will be well-decorated - just as good as Hammerhead.

Well if it is being built where Hammerhead was, then there are already water effects there that can be used.

I very much doubt a Huss Floorless Frisbee shares the exact same physical dimensions as a Zamperal Roto-Shake. Place your bets on seeing Knott's completely wipe out the area clean and start from scratch.

I hope the new coaster is the much rumored talon clone. Can never have too many B&M inverts in the world.

It will not be a Talon clone, nor a clone of any ride. Consider the space they have to work with- this ride will be custom fit for KBF.

But it's a Top Spin, not a Frisbee. Although I do agree, it probably isn't the same dimensions and some, if not all of the area will need to be rebuilt most likely. I just hope they keep the fountains and statues underneath. It not only looks great, but I think it kind of pays homage to the old pier parks like POP with it's sea theming.
