Knott's Scary Farm opening night includes fire

October 5th marked the start of Knott's 28th Annual Halloween Haunt. It was a wonderful night for a haunt. The only down point came just before the 10 p.m. Hanging when an animatronic character on the Log Ride caught fire and forced the shut down of the ride. Trip reports can be found at westcoaster!
