Knott's SC Palm Springs/ San Diego. Rides?

Cf purchased the two water parks in San Diego and Palm Springs. Which of the two did CF purchase additional land. Is there any plans to either expand these water parks or add any rides?

The San Diego park, which IIRC is in National City near the US/Mex border, has some extra land but I doubt you'll see rides there anytime soon.
How big is the San Diego park?

Seventy acres seems to stick in my head. The water park takes up a fraction of this acreage. This doesn't include the parking lot, which they share with the Coors Ampitheater. This causes some logistic problems as they have to close the park and clear the parking lot at a predetermined time before a concert is held.

As far as seeing pig iron on the property, your guess is as good as mine. Rumours flew about this shortly after CF bought it from the city. I am not aware of any site use stipulations that went with the property.

I live about 10 miles from the Palm Springs park and it's pretty tiny. The speed slides are pretty great, and the wave pool is ok, but they need to do something about the paths. They eat your feet alive on hot days (everyday here.) There is not a lot of spare land around the park so I doubt expansion will come anytime soon.
