Knotts Questions

I'm going to Anaheim for a work conference from Nov 2-7, and am planning on going to Knotts. I have seminars all week till 4pm, and was planning on going a couple of days after my classes let out. The only problem is I don't know Knotts hours through the week durinng November. Can I expect that the hours will be similar to the listed hours for September(closing around 6pm)? If so, I might have to change my flight plans so I can go on the weekend before or after.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Donny - I can relate, as I had a similar problem this past February when I was trying to plan a trip to Knott's. The way they post the hours of operation on the website is extremely frustrating, and problematic if you're trying to plan ahead.

I would call the number listed on the website, and ask someone in customer service what the hours will be for when you are planning your visit. This is what I did. I believe I called in December, and was able to at least get a "guestimate" for the hours in February.

Thanks Chris, this will be my first ever trip to Cali, and since my hotel is 10 minuites from Knotts I just think I will go crazy if I can't go, it's not everyday us kids from the midwest get to go to California you know.

If you're gong to change your travel plans to get you in the area on a weekend, I'd try my hardest to make it out to SFMM to get in a ride on X. It's really worth it. :)

uhhh... I would love too but I am going to my confrence with two other co-workers, (not enthusiasts to say the least). I'm pretty sure I can only change my flight plans like a day or so, since I think we will all have to take the same flight.

Though you never know, won't SFMM be in weekend opperations then though ?

Chances are the park's hours will be 10-6 on that week. Your best bet will be to try to hit either KBF of SFMM (or both) on the weekend. The hours may still be 10-6 though, but at least you won't have a seminar.

Nothing... NOTHING... can prepare you for... the Fourth Dimension!

Why not go to Disneyland?

Do not ride Xcelerator, it's diseased. Okay that was a lie, but I can tell you it is contagious, even more than the Isley Brothers ;) The first time you ride that luanch is gonna' scare the mooshnick(my new word) out of you. But ride it again and you will find yourself in and out of those queues every ten minutes.

I'm counting on it, Vertigo!...:)

Besides, I need the mooshnick scared out of me....I've been kinda "constipated" lately, and I'm all full of mooshnick...LOL....

'Gator - to have the most Mooshnick scared out of you, I'd say the back seat is slightly better for the kamikaze dive earthbound from the top of the Tophat.

Looks like I we will be arriving on Friday eavening, so I am going to hit SFMM on Saturday, and then Knotts on Sunday. I'm so Stoked, I actually might get to ride X now !

Thanks for the advice on Xcelerator, I was planning on a back seat ride anyway, getting yanked over the Top Hat is going to rock!!
