Let me preface this by saying that I work for an airline, so traveling to a park is not difficult for me. I used to have a Knott's Platinum Pass, but let it lapse in the past few years. I'd always love it because it was valid by calendar day, not year. I was browsing their site today and it appears that they no longer do this. Is this true????
They do the Platinum pass, but it is good from 11/1/2010 to 12/31/2011, if I am reading their site correctly.
I do know that when I visited Knott's in late December 2010, they accepted my Kings Island platinum pass, but I don't know if they took it as a 2010 pass or as a 2011 pass (as mine is both).
I had thought that Knott's passes were good from December 26-December 24, expiring on the one day of the year that the park is actually closed.

I originally had one last year. I bought in in January, and I'm pretty sure it was only good through the end of 2010. But I ended up having to trade it in for a Cedar Point pass since the Knott's one didn't scan up there... *SIGH*
I call Cedar Point my home park even though I live in the Chicago Suburbs.
