Knott's offers free admission guests who donate toys

Under the annual U.S. Marines Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Drive, guests bringing a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more to Knott's Berry Farm will get into the park free Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2002 only.

What a wonderful thing to do. I wouldn't want to have to do crowd control but I think this a great example of the positive ways the amusement park community gives back.

There are so many more that often times go unnoticed. Give Kids the World, Make a Wish, Fountain Donations and hosts of other good gestures.

Thumbs up to Knott's for this. They have done this for several years, now.

The way I see it, everyone wins here. The park attracts a lot of guests, and at the same time, will help underprivileged kids enjoy the holidays.

Six Flags magic mountain is in on the act too, same dates, same rules. Different news personalities though. If only disney wasn't always out to make a few billion.
