Knotts new ride update

I talked to people who KNEW exactally what this coaster would be. They didnt tell me, but what I got was there will be NO inversions, it will be higher than Goliath i dont know by how much, and the ride will be made by Intiman. I think the ride has been seen before, and when I said will it be like Millenium Force, they seemed pissed off, like the kind when your mad you figured something out, so it most likely will be like Millenium Force, but this is the clearest information I could get, and these guys were good friends with the owner of Knotts.

Great news SFMMRider. I hope that those facts you got are true.

The only thing I know is that there will be NO inversions, and pretty sure it'll be made by intiman, and it will be VERY well themed

Knott's is certainly turning into a world class park. :)

Now I think your lying because on the news today Knott's said that they wasn't going to open Vertigo today because it wasn't appropriate after what happened on Perilous Plunge.

Ah geese! Is somewon fooling around with Knott's ride ops??! I have heard from coaster enthusiast ops on this board that 99 percent don't know what a hyper is! The ones that do don't know what there getting.

This person along with only 9 (somewere around that) other people infact know what this ride is going to be, and along with those 9, one of them is the Knotts owner. So I trust these people over anyone, but they didnt wanna say anything, but I did get out there will be NO inversions ='(, but will be faster and bigger than Goliath, and I think it's going to be made by Intamin

I said the comment about 99 percent not knowing what a hyper was and I do mean it.
I'm not sure who could tell you this, sfmmrider, but I just can't believe it. (Unless you talked to Jack himself, I think anyone else will just tell you anything!)

Whats Milenium Force? ;) Ive only heard of MillenNium Force. On a more serious note, I cant see it being a giga, I dont think Cedar Fair would build somthing bigger than Millennium Force at one of their own parks.

They'd have to be pretty creative to squeeze something that large into a park that small. Then again, I've been amazed before. Seriously though, I'm sure it will be a "blast". ;)

It's not a giga or hyper of any kind. The announcement should come soon, but it's a ride that no other Cedar Fair park can claim. Jack wanted something that was identifiable only to Knott's, much like Ghostrider is.

Indeed it will be a "blast"! I just can't wait for these factors combined that are going to be the new ride. Intamin+Thurst Air+Hydrolic launch. This rumor has been all over the internet and I would be very suprised if it ISN'T the Intamin TA2K version. Janfredrick got it right on the dot, and I think he/she knows what I'm talking about!

:( I was really hoping for an Intamin Invert, Well all we know is that it probably won't be a hyper or giga, it'll be something more unique than that(hopefully). I kind of like Inverts and launched coasters than hypers, so maybe my opinion is a little biased.
