Knott's lines? good, bad or the ugly?

Hi, I'm taking a trip to Knott's Berry Farm this Sat and get to spend a wonderful saturday riding Ghostrider and XLR8R. Should I be prepared for standing a lot because of the lengthy lines, or will they be toleratable? Please give me your insight.

I suggest you check with park...Ghostrider has been undergoing its pre-haunt maintenance and has been closed.

Actually, a friend just went on GR, so it appears to be back up and running....GRR, lol. Sorry I missed it, really is a top-notch woodie.
Well, since they are open till 10pm, expect somewhat large crowds. The only rides that will be closed should be Wipeout, the bumper cars, and a slim chance that monte will be closed (I believe it may be rehab time). Ghostrider should have a 45 minute queue during the peak of the day, Bommerang a 35 minute line, Xcelerator a 20 minute line. All the rest should be under 20 minutes, pretty good for 12 hours time. If you bring in a coke can, admission is just 17 bucks. can't beat that deal.

$17 - great deal. How long does the promo last? Are there special label cans? I'm taking a trip to SoCal for my first encounters with Knott's and SFMM in October. Just trying to get some deals to have more money for the nightlife in LA.

How late is Knott's typically open on a Thursday in October? Thanks!!

the promotion ends Oct. 11th, no buying coupons for a later date like the ralphs club deal. All days in October end at 5:30 pm, due mainly to haunt, but crowds are minimal, even on saturdays.

Does anybody know of dissount options for Oct 24?

Should I go during the day for marathoning or wait until the Scary Farm at night? Will the crowds still be light enough to get ample rides on all the coasters?

Are the haunted mazes extra?

I have some discount coupons that you can use to get your Haunt tickets for $30.00 that night. The regular price if you buy them that day is $42.00. The only promotion for discounted Knott's tickets that will be valid in the daytime on that day (Oct. 24th) would be the Southern California Resident's deal, or your AAA card.

As for marathoning during the Haunt, it's not easy. The lines for the rides and the mazes can get long, especially the final week of Haunt. The mazes, converted rides, scare zones and shows are the main reason people go to the Haunt. If you want to marathon on the rides, go in the daytime (only open until 5:30 p.m.) and do it then.

Haunt is a special ticketed event and all of the mazes, converted rides, shows, etc. are included in the price.

the daytime is totally empty.
