Knott's Berry Farm Discounts

An unexpected opportunity came up to visit California on business mid-Sept which means first time trips to SFMM and KBF the weekend before!

I've got SFMM covered with my SF season pass, but I am looking for any discounts to Knott's without much luck.

I did find that Ralph's grocery stores offer discounted tickets, but it was noted that they apparently only sold them through Sept. 3rd (before I'll get there).

Does anyone in the Southern California area know of any other discounts??

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't know if they still have it, but when we were there about a month ago, they had discounts at burger king. They were just $5 the after 4pm promo. So essentially about $15 a person after 4. Which proved to be an awesome deal, but very dissapointing as I found out that Xcelerator was open from 10am-2pm. And we got there at 4pm.

Hope the X's are open for you. Both weren't for me.

quantum... Shoot me an e-mail. I have discount coupons to Knott's, but I'm not sure if they will be valid on when you are going to be here. I have the coupons at home. They are for $22.95 admission, which is a pretty good deal.

Soggy...thanks for the offer, but unfortunately just as quickly as this opportunity popped up, it disappeared again. =(

I do appreciate the offer...perhaps voldemort can take advantage of your coupons!

Thanks again...Bill

Easiest discount to get is a 25% discount by showing a AAA card. Also, at a car rental office 100 miles from Knotts, I found an Xcellent coupon on the new Knotts Brocures, which feature Xcelerator. Far less than 30 bucks if i'm not mistaken. AAA also gets like 10% of merchandise and sit down resturants (there are 4). Also, inquire to the KBF hotel if they are having the AAA nightly $99 price when you visit. That hotel is nice for the price, the best in the area.

Soggy, I have a CF pass (of course, FL is so close to all the CF parks, LOL)....anyhow, my traveling partner will need a KBF ticket for our day there....thinking it'll be 9/15....are your tickets good for that day....we'll only need one. Thanks!

I'm also heading to Knott's and SFMM for the first time, Oct 10 & 11 respectively. I didn't buy a season pass this year for either so I would appreciate any discount info as well. Also, what will lines be like that Friday at SFMM? I think Knott's should be empty on a school day.

Thanks for the help!!!

When I went just a few weeks ago, all the hotels I stayed at had brochures of the park with discounts. The hotels closer to Knotts had a $5 discount while the ones farther away had a $15 discount.

Yep, when you go to MM, just go into the Best western near the park, and grab a few brochures. There are tons of different ones. If i remember right they were 10 dollars off.

Thursday (10-10) at Knott's the crowd will be very light, but remember they are only open until 5:30 p.m. because of the Halloween Haunt (aka Knott's Scary Farm), which begins at 7:00 p.m. and is a separate admission. Like hunter11 said, check out some of the nearby motels for brochures/discounts. As for SFMM on 10-11 (Friday), they are open from 10-10 because of Fright Fest. The day should not be too crowded but as soon as school lets out, the locals will start to appear. I have a coupon for $20.00 off general admission if you would like one (and you can buy up to six tickets).

To all who asked me about my coupons... They expired on the 3rd of this month. Sorry to get anyone's hopes up.
