Knott's Berry Farm brochure - help!

Hello all

A friend of mine was recently cleaning out her grandmother's house and came across this old brochure in excellent condition from Knott's Berry Farm:

http://www.tiggerman.com/knotts.htm

Unfortunately, there isn't a copyright date or anything else on it, so I am not able to determine what year it's from. My "best guess" is the 1960's, but I was hoping someone here might be able to shed some light.

Check out the photos I've posted and let me know if you've got any information or advice.

Thanks! *** Edited 11/4/2007 1:50:23 AM UTC by TiggerMan*** *** Edited 11/4/2007 1:50:48 AM UTC by TiggerMan*** *** Edited 11/4/2007 1:52:13 AM UTC by TiggerMan***

It predates the Timber Mountain Log Flume and Calico Mine Train, which opened in 1969 and are not mentioned in the brochure.

They also show the number of dinners served through 1963. (A LOT of dinners!) So it may be narrowed down to somewhere between 1964 and 1968.

Another clue that might help narrow the dates is that this was made before the southern section of Highway 101 became Interstate 5. Find when that change was made and you'll have another piece of the puzzle.

Thanks guys - that's about what I figured - the mid to late 60's. So it's at least 50 years old.

Too bad I didn't come across this before PPP this year - I could have brought it with me to the swap meet. Maybe next year! *** Edited 11/5/2007 3:28:57 PM UTC by TiggerMan***

Maybe if you look here

and other similar places the map in the brochure might be key. ;)
