Knott's Berry Farm Boomerang

The hieght restriction were changed from minimum of 52" to minimum o 48". This is probably most likely due to the new over-the-shoulder restraints and some other modifications to the trains.

What is so different about the restraints and the trains? I was on the ride a few days ago, but didn't notice anything.
Perhaps a few modifications to make it not such a headbanger??

new restraints?!?!?!? I got to head down there and check them out. Hopefully the ride isnt so jerky!

It's about the same as before. Not any smoother. Well at least where I was sitting. It's probably just one of those rides that no matter how much you change something, it will always be that way. Example: Windjammer. They put in entirely new restraints, re-aligned the track, yet it was still bumpy.

Every Boomer I have ever seen is 48", so maybe Knott's just changed it when they realized it was higher than it needed to be.
