Knott family member dies

Virginia Knott Bender, daughter of the late theme- park pioneers Walter and Cordelia Knott and a longtime director of Knott's Berry Farm, died Friday after a long battle with cancer. She was 90. An entrepreneur, mother and philanthropist, she was known by friends and family for her gracious style, sense of humor and trademark red hair.

Yeah...what an icon to So Cal Knott's Berry Farm and a legend in helping keep the original Knott's Berry Farm to where it was.
