Knoebels Whirlwind

Danny, who you callin ekaf? ;)

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

For that price, I wouldn't be surprised that some smaller park would pick it up. Adventureland in Des Moines maybe? Arnold's up at Lake Okoboji? It seems like it was in great condition, so I hope someone picks it up.

The ride was really short anyway

On a replacement for WhirlWind...

Please, dear Lord, let it not be a relocated RC-48 from Morey's.

Oh God, a relocated RC-48!

My spine! My spine!

hopefully it'll be something new.

knoebels needs something brand new

Floridian

i like knoebels for their ability to save rides that are being torn down so something new to me wouldn't fit. and i am also in the please don't make it the RC-48 that thing is a medieval torture device...

Betcha a dollar Dick disagrees with ya....;)

why would the rescue an RC-48 when there are far better coasters out there in more desperate need of saving, so Im sure you won't see it turn up there. Im just hoping for inversions, Isnt there that small rumor that Dick was looking at Magnum Force???

Guys...the RC-48 comment was a JOKE! It is NOT going to happen...Dick is much smarter than that. Besides, I hear he's looking at either Shock or Wave to replace Whirlwind ;)

Gator - Dick does buy new rides...that Rock-n-Tug, for example. Power Surge, too! *** Edited 10/22/2004 7:40:37 PM UTC by Mamoosh***

You can have it, RoS!

I'm just happy I did get the chance to ride it.

Amen to that!

I rode it once also......that was enough for my poor noggin to handle, let alone my spine. :-(

-Tina

It was starting to rust anyway....ohh well, it hurt.

-Patrick

Aw, come on! The ride wasn't that bad, was it?

Ok, so it was... The thing never had a line, I've visited the park all my life and every time I visited the ride never had a line, two or three train wait tops. I'm thinking this is one of the real reasons for its departure.

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
