Knoebel's or Hersheypark?

Maybe I just had a bad experience at Hershey (which probably is the case, TR coming soon), but I thought Knoebel's just blew Hershey right out of the water. I was wondering what could possibly make this place so great, and after going there... I still couldn't tell you. But that doesn't mean it isn't great, it just means there's something magical about it that I can't comprehend. The coasters are awesome, the bumper cars are the best I've ever ridden, the Flyers are incredibly fun, and you cannot pass up the Merry-Go-Round! That thing was the biggest surprise of all. An outside horse is a must; go for the brass ring!

Can you get re-rides on Whirlwind?

Don't know why you'd want re-rides on that coaster, really...

I would hardly call it a corporate park "like so many others." The only "characters" you will find walking around are Hershey products (giant walking Mr.Goodbars, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey Kisses etc)

Is Hershey not a corporation? What do you think the whole point is? It's to get people to buy Hershey candy and lot's of it. It starts with the tour ride where they hand out a free sample of Hershey candy and remind you of all their products. Even the height requirements for the rides are based on their candybars. The lights are shaped like Hershey kisses. Don't get me wrong I still love this park, but let's not not make it out to be a saint with pure intentions when it's clearly not.

Lynch - welcome to the Knoebel's Cult. I've said in many threads that you can't really explain the magic of that place, you have to experience it yourself. And those who haven't can not understand ...
Give me the Phoenix ANY day.
