Knoebels Lodging

Anyone have a favorite spot where they'd recommend staying near Knoebels? I tried the Econo about 10 miles away a few years ago and it is NOT favorite material. I saw there's a few B&B (not a B&M or BM typo) nearby, but personally have never stayed in one. Any advice on where to stay for a July visit? Thanks in advance!

I stayed at the Econo Lodge last year during Phoenix Phall Phunfest (PPP). It was the only think available in the area. Wasn't horrible, but not very good. I already have Hampton Inn reserved for PPP this year. Find what you like, and reserve it early.

The LaTorre House, owned by one of the Knoebel brothers, is pretty nice. It is just past the park entrance. It does book up, especially for weekends. I believe a few weekends already have no vacancy. Their website has a calendar for checking availability.

I always stay at the Red Roof Inn, in Danville. It's cheap and clean.

Red Roof Inn, Danville. It's clean, cheap, and staff is friendly.

Thanks,
DMC

I stayed at that Red Roof. It was ok. (No Critters!) If you want to upgrade, there are two Hampton inns near Knoebels. One in Danville near the Red Roof and the other in Shamokin Dam next to a Bob Evans.

Both of those have indoor pools and one even had discounts for wristbands. (Saved $5 off of each one)

Wherever you stay - make sure that it is not at the time of the Little League World Series. Rooms at that time go in a second so check the dates.

Enjoy!
