Over the top, there's really no difference, if the wind's not blowing, they both go flying over the top, if the wind blows, they both fall back down. Winner: Push
Ending on KK was insanely rough and "rattly" although it happened so fast I didn't even realize how badly I was hurting and how beat up I felt until I was getting off the ride in the station. The "airtime" hill was not even noticable and didn't do anything. Give me TTD's butter-smooth glide to a simple stop with enough of a flat run-out to enjoy the speed for a few split seconds. Winner: TTD
So that's a 1-1-1 so you know which is the better? Storm Runner.

You're teaching Elementary Ed now? ;)
Come on now, what kind of coaster nerds are we?....back to Intamin bashing!! ;) *** Edited 10/17/2006 3:55:04 AM UTC by Peabody***
Patrick - the theoretical capacity of KK is greater than TTD (especially when you consider hold-ups in the station for stupidity), but the actual operations make its capacity poot.

and if they were bad rides millions would not have been spent.
You should mention that to the folks who spent millions on rides like Goudrix, SFMM's Flashback, any Zamperla Flying Coaster, SFGAdv's Viper, etc.

Vibration
I really paid attention to the vibration complaints a few weeks ago. We sat in the second row and I don't remember any bad vibrations. There was some shaking coming over the hill, but nothing bad. Could it be much worse in the back? Based on Storm Runner, I'd say yes.
Horn
What horn? Granted I've ridden both times during Fright Fest (05' as well) so maybe they turn the thing off, or maybe it's been permanently disabled?
The Hill
I do remember last year sitting in the front row and my butt was off the seat the whole way over the hill. This year, I don't remember, but it scares me everytime coming over the hill. It just feels like you're not going to stop. So it may or may not supply airtime, but not being able to see the brakes works for me:)
Capacity
Last year, capacity was awesome. But then again, they were running all four trains, and were publicly announcing when intervals were coming up. This year with two trains, not so good. Let's hope they fix that for next year.
My word, my heart races thinking about that. I gotta get to CP.
Sometimes I get so mad at people on here because they have been on all the best rides everywhere and I havn't been on any of them. EVER!
NO Nitro, Medussa, TTD, El toro, Talon, StormR, Any batman, Great Bear, Alpengiest.
I MEAN NOTHING.
I suck eh! Please feel bad for me.

LOL. Couple weeks ago, I'd have NO idea. Now, I can say that SR was *a little* rougher in the back, but Ka was a little more rougher. ;)
...and considering the speed of Ka's launch, I'm concerned about it's longer-term viability....I strongly suspect that in the next 2-3 years, we'll see more of the extended downtime... :-/
Storm Runner seems like the *vastly improved* version of Xcelerator. Score one for Intamin on perfecting the concept...of the medium-strength launch coaster... :)

IMO both are a waist of money.
LOL...Depends on the waist. My waist wouldn't be worth a damn. Dom Deluise however....

Hey, you're only 23 right? Give it time. It takes a long while to rack-up credits unless you have a lot of time and money. It's also more difficult for you since you live in Canada, but Cedar Point, for example, isn't that far away relatively. Based on RCDB, you're somewhere around 100-200-odd miles away as the crow flies.
I rode Dragster 10 times yesterday and only stopped because I wanted to walk over to Millennium Force for a few laps.
The vibration on Ka, both during the launch and then the rest of the ride, are absolutely horrendous. After the first ride, we decided to give it another shot in case it was a train with a bad wheel or something, but that didn't help. I don't know if it's a maintenance issue, a construction issue, or even a restraints issue (Dragster's lap bar doesn't hold you against the seatback leaving you to feel every little shake), but Ka is just krap.
