The portion of track seen missing was likely only a result of the transfer being moved. No track has been removed or replaced.
Its hard to see clearly because it was a camera phone but here is a picture of the train leaving on the truck (From GADVCentral)

SFoG I actually prefer GAdv's page...why? It's as soon as you get to the site you don't have to hunt for it or click anywhere besides the main page.
I really don't think we should be pointing fingers as to who is to blame, since none of us work for either Intamin or management for SFI. I highly doubt that SF would do anything to endanger its guests, and that this whole thing was just a huge accident. I loved the one ride I did get on KK, still think it is doing just what SFI inteneded, and know that it and the rest of the Golden Kingdom was a sound investment.
Also, I told some of the whining people at the park, those who were harrassing a park employee about KK being shut down, that they are morons. It only makes sense to call or visit the parks webpage before you venture out to see hours, prices, events, and any other contingencies that may be posted. Of course a big word like that confused kids from Jersey, but at least I got a laugh.
PhoenixPhan: I know what you mean about security blocking the area of KK but try walking around in the parking lot and see how close to KK you can get. Not that I have tried it but that may get a better view. As for the whiners they need to get a grip and get used to disappointment. This is a huge mechanical undertaking and it needs to be understood that it will have issues. *** Edited 7/14/2005 1:55:13 PM UTC by dragonoffrost***

Yeah, because people from Jersey are morons compared to a genius like you.
Nothing like a brazen display of pretentious grandiloquence to really bring the enthusiast world together, eh kids?

CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick
Yes, the patrons should probably have checked the website first or called ahead, but not that many GP know about TTD or it's history or the accident or anything other than what they see in ads (which say "Now open.").
Should they be disappointed? Yes. Should they be compensated? Definitely. Should they be jerks about it? Definitely not.
