KK Fridays w/ non-passholder

Has anyone done Kingda Ka Fridays? I'm planning on going but I have a non-passholder in my party. Is there a good way for him to not have to wait while I take the hour of ERT? Can he come in with me? How carefully do they check for season passes?

I went the Friday BEFORE, Andy....you know, when GASM and SUF were on the menu. We had two passholders in our group, along with three comp tickets, and we all got in....granted, it was only about 20 minutes before park opening when we got there, so....

The following Friday, Ka unexpectedly opened up, but I was all the way out in Central PA, so no Ka for the gator...ah well, I won anyway, spent the day at Knoebels... :)

I suppose the best advice is call and ask....or stow your non-passholder friend in a fanny pack... ;)

P.S. Should also mention that MY pass wasn't from GAdv, so it seems a SP from any SF park is sufficient for early entry...(oh how I love tying threads together, LOL).

Heh. Even if he did fit in a fanny pack, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one! :P (well, maybe if I were diabetic).

Knoebel's is a pretty good substitute.

I did call and all I got was a bunch of menus that ran in circles.

I went to the first KK Friday. There are security guys that check carefully for season passes to let you into the Golden Kingdom. Non-passholders can get into the park but GK is gated off to them.

We got to the park at 9:40 and walked straight into KK's station. It was sweet. Of course, with the slow loading, it will still take at least 15 minutes even if you walk straight into the station if the station is full.

I just realized that both SFoG and SFGAdv have a Great American Scream Machine, a Superman: Ultimate Flight, and a Batman the Ride. And, SFGAdv has a Skull Mountain and a Runaway Mine Train while SFoG has a Skull Island and a Dahlonega Mine Train. Weird.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
