SeaWorld San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas, USA
Trust me, bunky, when BGT announced the Intamin project that later became C-Hunt, I was bouncing-off-the-walls excited. I mean, a park that was already overlaoded with inversions, and was strongly rumored to be removing the wooden coaster, and the only two steelies that didn't invert were a kiddie and a wild mouse. Clearly C-Hunt was going to be the long-awaited hyper for Florida....except it wasn't.
That being said - I'd take Steel Eel in a heartbeat. The only other Morgan hyper that brings me to THAT level of joy was originally built by Arrow. When you look around at the rest of the US, pretty much every regional has one hyper (a couple even have two).
It would make a lot of sense to put in a hyper in that area. They're usually people eaters, and with a region where there are so many huge parks with huge lines, I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest in squeezing one in somewhere.
Steel Eel sounds like a blast. We were planning on just doing a Dallas game and SFOT, but maybe I can finesse a trip to SeaWorld out of this as well. *devilish grin*
Does Steel Eel count as a hyper though?
