Kings Mill Log Flume Closed for good?

Today I went to PKI to get my season pass processed. I decided to get a ride on Face/Off, which is the best steel coaster at the park IMO. After that I took a peek at SOB, which is coming along pretty good. Then I headed over to Rivertown and saw a wooden privacy fence around Kings Mills Log Flume. It looked like it will be taken down after all. It's not even on the park map anymore. Hint, hint. None of the workers I talked to knows when it will be taken down. Anyone with info on this? I'm guessing a coaster in that spot or just another flume ride.

Really??Dont know if thats true or not I`ll be there next week to get my pass processed as well.
By the way scince you`ve got your pass processed all ready out of curiosity whats your order number???
Ya know I was first bummed when I heard that this was being torn down because I thought it was the log ride near the Beast. Thankfully, that is not the case. Well I was hoping for one last ride before it was gone, but guess I'll just have to hold tight to my memories. :-)
I'm going up there today to get my season pass processed, as well as getting my coaster fix. I went there last weekend for Dry Run day and they didn't have the privacy fence around the flume. One weird thing though, all of the other water rides in the park were running, but not that one. I guess they are taking down the big ole' beauty. Oh well, I guess that means more thrills coming in the nest couple of years!
DirtyVern, what do you mean order number? I'm clueless there. Where is it on the pass card?

If this ride is closed for good.....I will be very sadden. It has more character then the larger one. And why not preserve the past by keeping it. And if you must let it go....send it out with a BANG. A farewell year could be the least they could do. And I wouldn't mind one more ride.

Let the coasters begin!!
BEASTmaster,I was assuming that you preordered your season pass. They(Paramount)send you a pass certificate that you fill out before its processed at the park.Page one is actually a reciept of purchase with shipping date and order # located at the top right corner and page 2 is the form you fill out and have processed at the park. *** This post was edited by DirtyVern on 4/16/2000. ***
Actually, I also liked the smaller one more than the bigger one (Kenton Cove's Keelboat Canal). It got me a lot more wet. Though only ride it once a season, it was still something I looked forward to.
DirtyVern,
I got my season pass for Christmas. My parents bought it at a store in Cincy called Meijer's. So I didn't order it. I really didn't pay attention to the order number.
