Kings Island sign collapses overnight

If it wasn't a tornado that took this sign down, then it had to have been a microburst.

Wow, that pic just amazes me. The sign is a twisted wreck.

But, there will be a section where guests will see the most elaborate Flashing Letters ever created by computer! (Or atleast that's what I heard from a ride-op) Sounds way to scary for me...

This is PKI they will most likely build the flashiest thing they can find. Biggest fastest longest only sign with a inversion.

Just one more thing to look forward too in 2004
(Yeah right after working for them and knowing how they operate I give em 3 weeks and a new sign will be up)

Someone posted in pkiu. In 04 the new sign will be the tallest fastest and only looping sign on the planet.

They're buying and remodeling Knott's Hammerhead for their new sign?? ;)

{Kings Island lost an icon in the storm. The amusement park's sign, visible from Interstate 71 and a fixture at the park since it opened 31 years ago, was destroyed. Spokesman Jeffrey Siebert said park officials are still trying to decide what to do about the sign, but they expect something "bigger and better." }

Isn't it always going to be "bigger and better"..........

This actually made the news over the the 'City (KC) on KMBC9. I was like OMG, I was just there last month. (on a side note, it was a slow news night in KC, just 5 homicides and few shootings, nothing really spectacular).
