The staff of Kings Island works over the summer to try to fulfill changing demands, to give visitors more of what they liked last year and to come up with some surprises. The park had a media day Thursday, giving a peek at what's new on the menu. They include a new Starbucks, expanded healthy choices, a new and improved funnel cake experience and some new menu items.

I make chicken tenders at home a lot like how Chicken Shack at Kings Island makes theirs. I love their tenders. I'll marinate the chicken in Buttermilk for a few hours though, and not all night like they claim they do. Yummy!

I'll take Raising Canes over Chicken Shack, which strikes me as a direct knockoff of Canes.
When I was in the south it seems there was a Zaxby's everywhere I looked. I wasn't able to try it though and wonder now what it's like.
And don't worry Josh. The fries are worse for you than the chicken. :-)
Zaxby's is good stuff.

KI is now offering fresh apple slices instead of fries at Chicken Shack if one prefers. ;-)
Honestly, I don't think Chicken Shack's tenders are half as bad as the thickly-breaded, crispy junk ones at parks like Cedar Point. According to Chicken Shack's website, each tender has 82 calories, 2g fat, 4g carbs, and 13g of protein.
Paired with the apple slices and water, those stats are hard to beat for healthy park food.
...But yes, more healthy and vegetarian options would be even better. I've definitely felt the food variety, quality, and dietary-restricted options have been improving at Cedar Fair parks though. For example, I was impressed by the food at Carowinds, which Tek and others told me had been revamped this year.
