King's Island Season Pass Question (Not Your Norma

This may have been asked before or it may not have but a friend of mine did not use his season pass, last season. He never got the pass processed and still has that card. He wonders if King’s Island will allow him to use the unprocessed pass for this year’s season. Is that possible or does he have to buy a new pass for this season? Common since tells me that he has to buy a new pass and that it is his fault, not the parks, that he didn’t use it but I am still uncertain. Is there any penalties or anything for not using a pass besides not using it?

Nope it can't be used. For one it has the year at the top of the card. If you buy the pass you have to use it that season, unless its towards the end of the year when you can purchase a pass for next year, and it still be good for the remaing of the current year.

My dad didn't get his processed in 2000 and they allowed him to trade the old form in to get one in 2001 for no charge, but I don't know what their current rule is on doing that. It's worth a shot, so just have him call up the park and ask about it.

Maybe you can get it traded for a current one? I wouldn't think so though, but maybe. Try calling the park and ask see what they say.

There are many parks who will let you use a certificate or voucher one year after the actual year it was purchased for.

Speaking of Paramount's Kings Island season passes, I'm hoping some of you PKI guru's can answer these questions:

What time does PKI open on April 11 for pass preview night, and what time can you go to get your passes processed?

Are ALL rides open on pass preview night, or just the new ones?

PKI`s season pass preview night is Friday April 11 from 5 to 10pm. All rides should be open, provided they don`t have any mechanical problems. Obviously, if it`s cold like last years pass preview night some of the water rides might not be open. Usually, two weeks before the park opens you can go up and get your pass processed. I would reccomend this since on the season pass private party, a lot of people will be processing their passes. Only 31 days until PKI opens!!

I would get your pass done in one of the days they are open before, they are usually almost empty and the wait on Pas Preview night takes atleast 20 mins because theline is so long.

I don`t know for sure. I know that last year they didn`t open up the gates until 4:45 I believe. There was a major mass of people by the season pass processing are when I arrived, before the gates opened. You could try calling the park, and then you will know for sure. I believe the park`s information line is (513) 754-5700.
