Kings Island creating new adventure-themed area
Per many local news sources, Kings Island will be designating the area between Action Zone and Coney Mall as "Adventure Port." They are adding a few new rides and will be refurbishing Adventure Express roller coaster as part of this change.

Opinion section: this seems like a pretty good idea; that area was already in limbo, being part of neither AZ or CM. Looking forward to whatever they do with AE. Last time I rode it, the station's 20 second loop of poorly-composed jungle sounds was aggravating and I only waited a few minutes for the ride. Can't imaging what it'd be like to work it. OTOH, the ride itself was good: more ambient lighting in the tunnels and all the effects and animatronics in the final hill were working well.
My only question is whether the new spinning barrel ride Cargo Loco will tilt the entire platform like the old Der Spinning Keggers did. What a puke fest that ride was...
