Kings Island 2004

And on next week's episode of Amaaaaaaazing Discoveries....
Hey Lumpy72,

That was really quite funny. Thanks for the laugh. Glad I swallowed the diet Mountain Dew first (I hate wiping pop off my computer screen...I'm sorry...SODA, for those of you in the south).

Beast Buzz...mere days away.

But I have to win that $1 billion ($250 million limp sum) first than you WILL see a 300 foot tall giant Intamin gigawoodie and it WILL be smooth and full of airtime because only Intamin is smart enough to build massive 200+ foot tall woodies that are smooth. Other companies need to stick to 60-150 feet tall.
Perhaps PFF, but I wish they were smart enough to keep multiple trains running on their RoSs.. :(

I'm not an enthusiast. I just play one on message boards.

No your all wrong. The ride is called gluteus maximus, and is themed to gladiator. It is a b+m 5d and features the new butt-element hence the name. :-)
450 foot tall woodis. Give us a break. 80 to 90 foot woodie with tons of air-time would be more realistic.

The B&M rumor came from screamscape.com. The rumors on the site don't always come to pass, but this one sounds promising. I hope it's not just wishfull thinking.

The TR stunt show sounds interesting.

Oh yeah, a statue. Wow, that screams a B&M. How could it be anything else?

.........exactly.

Screamscape used to be something you could trust as industry insider stuff, but ever since Lance made the serious mistake of posting a drawing of the Giant Topspin that would become Tomb Raider at PKI, it's all a bunch of 14-year old generated nonsense.

The statue is of Alex the Great and is a prop from the new Tomb Raider movie to plug the short-run stunt show that will be at the park later this season. Sorry to disappoint you.

No, Jeff's not making that up. I heard Jeff Siebert say it with my own ears. He also said something along of the lines of "No, there is no Ceasar or Gladiator ride."

Safety is everybody's responsibility.

Well this might as well turn into a "new ride for PKI in 2004" thread. Nobody ever said there wasn't a new ride coming next year, just not themed to gladiators or Roman times.

We could let it turn into that, but we can't stand baseless speculation wishlist topics here, so we won't.

So, is it closed then? I can see what your saying, because now the speculation would be based on practically nothing.

That means we can't talk about "Shrimp Boat Fury" then........

Joe,

What does that Bat press kit include? I am going to be doing a scale model for my tenth year in 4H and wanted to do a scale model of the Bat. Is there any "blue print" looking things in there?

We knew about the Stunt Show earlier in the thread, but no one would listen... continued.
