Kings Entertainment Corp.?

Was looking Around RCDB and came across Wonderland Sydney and discovered that two of their Coasters are made by this Company. Also It made me think of Canada's WOnderlamd. Does Paramount have any realtion to Kings Entertainment Corp. And What is the state of the company as of Now? http://rcdb.com/contactdetail34.htm
IIRC Paramount purchased Kings Entertainment corp. back in the early 90's & at that time they already owned PKD,PKI,PGA & 20% of PCW & PCAR but of course later bought the last two parks entirely.

I don't know when,or if KECO ever made any park aqqusitions down in Australia but perhaps maybe they did & during that time built a couple of coasters based on rides found in their US parks.

Kings entertainment Corp once owned Kings Island, Kings Dominion, PCW, and Wonderland Sydney. They also used to run what is now Paramount's Great America, and then it owned it for a few years as well.

AFAIK, They dissolved when the assets were all sold to Paramount.

Actually, KECO bought out Carowinds entirely in 1975. Of course at that time KECO was called Family Leisure Centers and was owned by Taft Broadcasting and Kroger.

Right, PKI was built by Taft first, then Taft and some other companies went in (family leisure) and built Kings Dominion, and around the same time they purchased Carowinds.

They did have something invested in the Australian park, I am researching all of it now.

They used to manage PGA. EVentually, Taft owned PKI, PKD and PCar outright (i'm pretty sure), and then some Taft people bought the parks and formed KECO. That eventually grew to manage PGA, and I'm not entirely sure about PCW, but in the end, Paramount bought all 5 parks, and they also own Star Trek the exp.

Paramount manages Terra Mitica (I think they have some shares, but could be wrong), and they manage Bonfonte.
