Kings Dominion will host FBI terror attack drill

Kings Dominion will be the scene of an emergency preparedness drill in which dozens of law enforcement agencies will respond to a simulated attack involving a weapon of mass destruction.

They had a drill like that at Cedar Point a few years ago. The scenario for that one was a hijacked freighter filled with explosives was on a course for the CP beach.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
That seems like an unproductive scenario. The ship would be destroyed well before it ever reached the beach because it would strike the sunken Magnum.

Those sharply pointed bunny hops would tear through a freighter faster than an iceberg through the Titanic.
I remember hearing a rumor about this drill a long time ago on a long dead coaster board. It was pre-Top Thrill Dragster, (I remember because I made a comment about "Fire Streak" which was a rumored name for TTD.) So that would be what? 2002? 2003?
But I just did a quick Google search and it turned up nothing. So I wonder, did it ever happen? It would be something I'd be very interest in reading about.
