Kings Dominion will add animatronic dinosaurs in addition to Windseeker in 2012

Kings Dominion is rolling out two attractions instead of one for the 2012 season. For thrill seekers, the theme park in northern Hanover County will announce this morning that it will erect WindSeeker, a 301-foot-tall swing ride. For family entertainment, it is building Dinosaurs Alive!, an interactive dinosaur exhibit.

"You get a WindSeeker, You get a WindSeeker, Everybody gets a WindSeeker!"

That made me laugh Good one! I even read it in her voice, and elongated (and sang) the "er" at the end of Windseekerrrrrrrrr!

If these attractions are proving to be popular and the dino thing is going to give the parks some extra cha-ching, then I say whatever. Just don't take out something that is historical and family-focused in the process, like PWE. ( :( )

Why is it that $28-million roller coasters are included with admission, but $1-million Dinosaur exhibits cost extra? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

I was looking at the Windseeker animation, and low and behold, Rebel Yell now has three (3) '4th' hills. Guess they cut a few corners on the video. Only a real coaster geek would see that...
