In what is probably one of the final Hypersonic XLC construction photo updates, PKD shows off the station and the very freaky looking trains, although no wheels are shown. Also included are an outside shot of 7th Portal and a repainted Anaconda. The pictures can be found at the official site.

It's a nice touch that they don't have shoulder restraints. I hope I can go on XLC one day.

Its about time that The Anaconda got a Face lift the Green an Orange was nice an Rusty, red look good. Hyper will be awesome I cant wait to ride. glad XLC is only 4 hrs away.

everyone is so hyped up over this hypersonic... it'll be OK, but it looks rather lame to me, why does it seem like PKD always gets these piece-of-crap short prototype rollercoasters? PKI has at least 2 world-class coasters that have 1 mile + lengths, and we get these short rides. Volcano:TBC is 47 seconds long, and hypersonic a mere 17. GOSH are we THAT unimportant? it's not even a COASTER in my mind! they might as well have given us a gyro-drop!

In that case, perhaps you get two laps without stopping per ride. That would be fun, & not much air would be needed for accelerating the train to optimum speed on the final lap. However if HS uses a mini catch wagon to launch the trains, nup.

I-Fan--Well, it depends on who you're asking. If you ask me, 15 seconds of a thrill is better than nothing, but they could have done a BIT better... they could have at LEAST themed it. But, I've come to expect this from PKD.
