John Pagel fills us in on the re-profiling of Intimidator 305 and shows us around the park.
I can't wait to see if this will really make the difference they're hoping for,

Grooming guidelines must not be enforced in the offseason. lol
Interesting fix. It's simple, and what many of us predicted from the start. ;)

I'm sorry but I'm deaf and cannot read lips, can anyone please tell me a summary of what he is saying about I-305?
CF225 - they're basically stretching out the turn so it won't have the excessive forces on riders/trains that it had with the original layout. They believe this will allow them to remove the trims on the first drop. Also- he didn't specifically say as much since he's PR and not maintenance, but the reduced wheel friction on that turn could (hopeful probably more than realistic) mean less problems with the wheels...
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
If you click the title of the video and watch it on YouTube, it does have closed captioning on it.

Thanks gator and Jeff. Jeff, I never knew there is ongoing beta for translating audio into captions, although some words aren't accurate but pretty cool if you ask me! Thanks again!

I'm partly deaf, and captioning is very important to me. That's the reason I rarely look at anything on youtube. To say that "some words aren't accurate" is like saying Mean Streak is a little rough. On those rare videos that ARE captioned, it's an absolute mess and extremely difficult to follow. The only thing I've seen comparable was when I used to regularly watch WWF years ago. But at least with that, I didn't need the announcers. I just wanted to watch the Undertaker..among others.

This one said it was transcribed, so do you blame a human in this case? :) We have voicemail computer transcribing at work, and it's awful, especially considering how many people don't speak American English as their first language in our industry.

In a seasonal park, for full time male staff, off season is totally gotee/beard season! The bears emerge.
^Where's Moosh? I expected a 'woof' hehehe.
I haven't been on I-305, but this seems like a really good fix.
Now get rid of the shoulder bars and we'll be talkin'! (Do I hear some trees and a couple tunnels?)
I heard they may be planning to install some cool water features, then over two to three years let them fade into abandonment and neglect. ;)

CoasterDemon , I-305 doesn't have shoulder bars anymore. They were replaced with shoulder straps. Very similar to what is on the ZacSpin Ball Coasters.
