Looks like a great ride, but way too short. I'm looking forward to a bigger, longer version of this ride...possibly even a dual track. Eight riders at a time is going to make for very long lines.
Thanks for the photos. Good job!
Yes, but they've got the potential for four trains and if they keep the sub-20 second station time they were running this weekend, capacity won't be much of an issue.
I LOVE the pics of the cake and the ice sculpture with H:XLC's logo. Nice touch! Oh, and the ride looks good too;)!

I like the missing paint. Did anyone notice there was still masking tape on some parts of the track where the under wheels make contact? I was pretty amused by that. (But anything easily amuses me after standing in line for an hour)
Heh. Missed that somehow. Wish I'd seen it, I'd have gotten pics ;)
Everyone who designs a website should take note of how Greg's pictures load "Hypersonic"ly. I felt like I had a cable modem for once. And the picture quality is excellent also. As for the air-powered coaster, I say enjoy the publicity while it lasts because it won't be too much longer until Batwing debuts. It will be the first head-to-head coaster competition between PKD and SFA since the name change. Should be interesting.

Thanks for the comments!
As for Hypersonic vs Batwing, I agree that it'll be interesting. The reaction among enthusiasts seems to be "Batwing is another Stealth, nice but oh well, but look at HYPERSONIC!" Compare that with the likely reaction among the GP when the people who haven't heard of Stealth get a gander at Batwing...
