An unspecified number of employees at Kings Dominion were laid off on Wednesday, with full-time employees to receive severance pay, according to officials.

People that find out they’re going to be fired in 2 weeks tend to walk out with everything.

Trust me....I dont give Big Orange credit for too much of anything.

Are you MAN ENOUGH to ride this ride ?

I know if my employment stops it will be. There's the door right now and here's severance pay. Even if I submit a resignation. Working in my field they don't let people leaving stick around.

Watch the tram car please....

Yeah, that's how it goes.

This statement right here is everything wrong with this country.

It doesn’t have to “go that way”, it’s just that the masses are happy to bend over and take it by the corporations. If the masses said no more then it wouldn’t have to “go that way” anymore.

Stop.

If you say "go that way" one more time, Bernie Sanders will appear.

After about 30 seconds all I heard was billion ass.

This came across my phone today. Doesn't belong directly here but it likely would lead to reactions consistent with others in this thread.

How much Disney the income quintiles can afford. Looks at parks as well as DCL.

This strikes me as naive. If the masses said "no," nothing would be different. When I've been laid-off, I move on with my life and get another job. A job is just a business arrangement. If I don't like the terms, I can split, too. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any workplace protections, but I'm not entitled to keep any job the employer doesn't want to pay me for.

I completely disagree. If we walked out and unified when mistreated the conditions would change.

I mean, can you walk out if you were already fired?
