More than a month after a malfunction during a test run damaged some parts, Six Flags Great Adventure’s much-touted Kingda Ka roller coaster remains closed. The 456-foot-tall coaster opened to great fanfare in May, only to be closed June 8 after a malfunction during a test run. No one was on board at the time. They started testing the ride again Thursday.

Oh no, trust me. I'm well aware of how the state works. And when I said little bit, I didn't mean within the next 2 hours..lol I meant sometime within the next two weeks. I'm not expecting anything this week, I'm thinking first week of August.
They both have a cool launch and a neat turning drop. Kingda Ka is just TTD with a hill on the brake run, a nice themed home, a weird vibration and uncomfortable restraints.
I went on the thing before it's "test failure." They may both be fun...but, they're really not that big of a deal!
Therefore Kingda Ka will retain the title of worlds tallest and fastest, because in reality it is
Do you think that the "TTD tallest and fastest" will come down by the end of this year?
Anyway, the fact that Kingda Ka is once again opening is great news for the coaster enthusiast crowd.
It will be great to have Kingda Ka back in operation when Jersey says they can operate it.
