Kingda Ka Status

You people wait 5,6,7 hours for a ride that lasts 30 seconds? (Not to mention the drive there and back) Britney Spears' first marriage didn't last that long!

To each his own, I suppose. You'll never see me waiting in a line that long for a ride. Of course, I may come over and flick dippin' dots at you.

Obviously, you haven't ridden Kingda Ka, or TTD. If you did, then nothing makes you excited. These rides are worth every second waiting. The launch, accent, and decent into that 270* sprial are great feelings. I forgot about all the bad things that happened while I waited. It was all worth it.

How could you be an enthusiast if you refuse to wait in a long line for your first ride on a coaster?

I respect RatherGoodBear more than anyone who posts here, and if he says he doesn't want to wait 5,6,7 hours for a 15 second ride, that's his chioce. Saying he's not really a coaster enthusiast is downright stupid of you.

15 seconds is 15 seconds, I don't care how thrilling it is.

I prefer my coasters with some twists and turns, drops and climbs. I've heard a lot of people here say that if the line is more than an hour, they sometimes skip these Two rides.

I would rather ride 10-20 coasters in a day than 1 or 2.

For my first ride, I'm not quite sane....after that, I really don't do waits much over an hour...still shoulda gone back toward Philly and gotten that inaugural ride on Ka, since my first TTD lap was only a couple months ago...ah well, there's still PPP... ;)
